ECGR 3132 "Electronics"

Currently teaching, 3132, “Electronics” at the junior level.

This course begins with a review of single-stage bipolar and MOS transistor amplifiers. Both DC bias and small-signal analysis of single-stage, differential pair, and multistage amplifiers are presented. Analysis of AC circuits and frequency response is reviewed, and frequency response of amplifiers is presented. Negative feedback is introduced for amplifier circuits. Multistage amplifier projects, with and without negative feedback, are included with emphasis on hand analysis, SPICE simulation, and laboratory measurements.
