ECGR 3131 "Fundamentals of Electronics and Semiconductors"

Currently teaching, 3131 “Fundamentals of Electronics and Semiconductors” at the junior level.

This course reviews DC circuit analysis and ideal operational amplifier circuits, and then introduces the diode and bipolar transistor. Emphasis is placed on DC biasing and small-signal analysis of single-stage amplifiers. Operational amplifier and single-stage bipolar transistor amplifier projects are included with emphasis on hand analysis, SPICE simulation, and laboratory measurements.
