Here are some my designs in Jpeg form, to reduce the bandwidth for my site I have decided to have all my pictures hosted with putfile. Most of my designs are still just that, designs, but with all of them they can easily become a limited run product.
These Pictures are of my brackets that I designed to protect the alternator from spills. They were designed for the Cadillac 4.6 liter motor. These brackets are still in the design phase and have not been dimensioned
These pictures show the few different designs I have been working on for holding a custom headlight kit in the 2nd generation rx7. A friend of mine is making the actual headlight kit and I decided to help him out by sciencing the brackets to hold them; still in progress BTW.
The pictures above show my progress on sciencing out the 1UZ intake and trying to adapt them to a 98-99 GSXR 750 motorcycle throttle bodies. As shown in the third picture I have made a mock-up of the throttle body. I have two ideas, one being a flat top throttle body design, and soon to come a "V" top style design. It still needs a lot of work and I will begin analysis of what the better position is for the injectors. UPDATE: after some analysis of the GSXR throttle bodies its pretty clear that the whole set-up has to be tilted inward to promate a better flow. It may also be possible to reuse the stock 1UZ injectors and fuel rail because of the new mounting location. New picture added for clarity
This is a new venture that I am taking; I have decided to make a proper intake I need a proper engine. I have begun to dimension every single aspect of the 1UZ for my purposes. I will also be distributing the engine so other enthusiasts can use it in their project. next I will have to make a proper car. You can see in this picture that a fuel rail has been added to the engine and the cam gears. The image was created about 2-14-07, and since then I have finished the crank and valve cover. expect more later on in the month.
This is my attempt at reverse engineering the warning light bezel in the 2nd generation RX7, however I want to have it injected molded which sucks because injection molding costs a pretty penny.
The above picture shows my completely dimensioned 1UZ engine mount bracket to weld to car frames. It will be later used to make some mounts for the 2nd generation RX7 engine bay. The thicknesses and material can vary depending on your needs, Most of the brackets will be 1/4" to 3/8" mild steel and will be watterjetted to prevent warping.
