Transfer Credits
For students transferring into The William States Lee College of Engineering, there are two types of transfer credits. One type would be the general courses common to all majors, which are accepted by Admissions and granted an equivalent UNC Charlotte course exemption. All such course posted on a student's Transfer Credit Report are general courses awarded from a regionally accredited college or university.
The other type of transfer course would be a major-specific course (i.e. engineering course). These transfer courses involve a process in order to be granted transfer exemption.
Students transferring in with successful engineering course credit(s), (i.e. courses obtained from other institutions with minimum grades of 'C' or better) need to bring appropriate course syllabi with them either to their particular SOAR session.
