Student Activities
UNC Charlotte and the Lee College of Engineering provide students a wide range of academic, professional and social activities. These include traditional intercollegiate sports such as basketball and soccer, and in 1997 the addition of intercollegiate auto racing.
The College of Engineering auto racing team competes against teams from other colleges of engineering in 5/8th scale Legends cars. The program is currently run by the Mechanical Engineering Department and is open to all full-time students.
