Learn More About Us

The William States Lee College of Engineering is one of the leading institutions for engineering and engineering technology education and research in the southeast.  Our disciplines of civil and environmental engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology, and mechanical engineering are unsurpassed for quality and value.

Our faculty are among the most prominent researchers and educators in the nation. With a total enrollment of over 2100, our class sizes remain small.  This allows our professors to provide personal instruction and attention to their students.

We believe strongly in interaction and teamwork. Through project and experiential based activities, undergraduate, graduate, part-time, full-time, commuting, on-campus, and all other groups of traditional and non-traditional students learn and work together.  The college also cultivates the involvement of area businesses and industries.

To learn more about how you can achieve your potential as an engineering or engineering technology student, please make an appointment to visit us for one of our weekly information sessions held at 1:00 on most Mondays (except during Freshman Orientation in June & July) in Woodward Hall, Rm 244.  You must have an appointment, preferably made a week in advance.  Please call 704-687-2213 to schedule.
