Diversity Programs

The Lee College of Engineering is committed to providing a dynamic and supportive environment that celebrates the diverse population of its students, faculty, staff and administrators.  This commitment is made with the goals of extending educational opportunity at the baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral levels to the citizenry of the region and state and providing UNC Charlotte students with an optimal learning environment, where a diversity of backgrounds, viewpoints and experiences are represented.*  The College's strategic plan specifically includes goals that relate to recruitment and retention of a diverse student population. 

In an effort to enhance the academic and professional success of all of its students, the College offers a variety of programs and services that have a proven track record of success.  While these programs are available to all students, women and minority students are especially encouraged to participate.
