Pro Engineer Wildfire 3 Help Page
What is Pro Engineer?
Pro Engineer is a 3D solid modeling program used to construct models of parts or assemblies of parts, which may later be constructed. ProE is commonly used by mechanical engineering majors in the design classes such as Junior Design and Senior design in which a solid model prototype is needed to convey the mechanical design to a group of peers. ProE offers a wide variety of tools such as the ability to draw 3D models, perform finite element analysis on the models, construct an assembly of several different parts, and make movies of the assemblies in operation.
