Mathematica has a lot of help options. You can find almost anything you need in any of their help options under the "Help" menu. To get the "Master Index" of the help pages, click on "Help" in the menu bar, then "Master Index..."

The Help window has several tabs and a search utility. Clicking on the tabs allows you to find any function or command you might need. the bottom half of the window displays the help file you have selected.
There is also a tutorial that introducs many of the main functions in Mathematica. To get this, click on "Help" fro the menu bar, then "Tutorial..."
