An Overview of Opnet Modeler
Opnet Modeler is a program used for Simulattion of Communication Networks. It provides a virtual Network environment that models the behaviour of the entire network including its Routers, Switches, Protocols, Servers and individual applications.
NOTE:
1. Simulation of projects do not work on XP systems because the VC++ complier is not linked with the Opnet Software
2. It is strongly recommended that all operations performed in OPNET be done on the UNIX Platform.
3. Help/Tutorial for Opnet Modeler is not available on the Web for free, paid Subsciption is required. Please contact your faculty for advanced help.
4. ITS IS RECOMMENED TO SEE HELP FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING FOR ALL CONCEPTS.
