How to configure Netscape Messenger to read E-Mail from Home.

In order to read your E-mail, you will have to change your Netscape Mail settings. The following steps will guide you through the process.

1. Click on Windows -> Mail and Newsgroups.

   

2. Select Email Account and click Next.

   

3. Enter your name and email address and click Next.

   

4. Click on IMAP and enter the server names. The incoming server is ironhost.uncc.edu. Then click Next.

   

5. Enter your username and click Next.

   

6. Enter your account name and click Next.

   

7. Click on Finish to exit the wizard.

   

8. If the outgoing mail server is not set to ironhost.uncc.edu, click on View settings for this account.

   

9. Click of the Outgoing Server (SMTP) selection, and change the server name to ironhost.uncc.edu.

   

10. Click Ok once everything is complete.
