  • Computer Skills Workshops : The College of Engineering (COE) Computing Support Group (Mosaic and Personal Computing Services(PCS)) has put together a Computer Skills Workshop (CSW) that covers the fundamentals of Mosaic computing and good computer use habits for those who own and use a personal computer (PC) while enrolled in the COE. Attendance in a CSW is voluntary but it is highly recommended. It will help you get up to speed with using the variety of computing resources available to you in the COE.Click here to read more.

  • Register Your PC with PCS :The Personal Computer Support ( PCS) group is here to help you with any software issues you may have with your PC. To better help support you and your PC we suggest you register your PC with the PCS group via a web based registration process. See this link for registration of your PC.
    When you register your PC with the PCS group we will be able to alert you of any vendor promotions, hardware recalls and any software updates.

  • Free (or low-cost) Software from Microsoft. Effective Fall '07 the College of Engineering will be one of 3 academic units at UNC Charlotte participating in the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDNAA). This program allows any faculty member in the COE and students currently enrolled in any COE course the ability to obtain many Microsoft software packages through download for free or via CD at a low cost. Unfortunately core Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint are not included. Read more about the program here.
