SSH With PuTTY

1. Download PuTTY from the link here.
   
   
2. Scroll down to the For Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP and Vista on Intel x86 section and click on putty.exe, a new window should pop-up.
   
   
   
3. Click on the Run button.
   
   
   
4. The PuTTY Configuration window should appear.
   
   
   
5. In the Host Name section enter is-sm1.uncc.edu and in the Saved Sessions section enter work from home. Also make sure SSH is selected and the Port number is set to 22. Once everything is complete click save.
   
   
   
6. In the Saved Sessions section select work from home and click Open.
   
   
   
7. After the SSH terminal appears, enter your Mosaic password. You are now logged into the Mosaic system.
