The Engineering Management Program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte looks for enthusiastic undergraduate students to work on summer research projects within the program.  3 positions will be open and opportunities will be available in all the research areas within the program. 

The following list shows the example of the research topic areas:

• Supply Chain & Logistics Systems
• Systems Risk Analysis
• Service Systems Management
• Global Engineering/Business Systems

Projects will be with 6 weeks duration (May 27 – July 3, 2008) and pay will be $350/week plus housing allowance.

Overall Process:

January:	Announcement of the SREU program.
March 1:	Deadline for application.
Late March:	Matches between students and faculty associated with the projects of interest to them to be done.
Early April:	Notification of successful applicants.
Late May:	SREU program starts and orientation seminar will be held.
Early July:	SREU program ends and final presentation (both oral and poster) will be held.
